Popis Pozície:

We are looking for a Financial Controller for one Slovakian business, which is part of large multinational company on stock exchange who will report to business’s Managing Director and to the CEE Finance Director and will be responsible for financial reporting tasks.

The successful candidate will be able to:
- Take responsibility for all financial aspects of the businesses including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and business analytics, internal and external audits
- Prepare all reporting, forecasting, commentary, and other monthly
Finance tasks
- Prepare annual budgets, risk assessments, and audits; assist in preparing strategic plans
- Take responsibility for the Finance function and Credit Control
- Make suggestions and take action to improve the financial performance of the businesses
- Cooperate with external IT, and manage new and old reports from ERP
- Ensure that the control environment meets Bunzl Standards
- Actively assist Managing Director
- Work closely and together with the Chief Accountant
- Lead the Working Capital improvement initiatives
- Assist the CEE Finance Director, especially with improving the performance and control
environment
- Take the lead in delivering excellent results of all internal and external audits
- Take the lead in ensuring highest quality standard in the Finance and Credit
Control
- Participate in regional projects relating to IT, benchmarking exercises, implementation of best practices and cross-border commercial agreements
- Any other duties required to support the CEE Finance Director and Managing
Director of the business

Požiadavky:

- Very strong English language communication skills
- University degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
- Ideally having worked in a B2B environment or for a complex B2C or FMCG
Company as Financial Controller
- Experience as a Financial Controller with a multinational company
- Ideally worked also for Big4 companies
- Business controlling or FP&A experience is needed
- Strong consolidation and reporting skills
- Meeting tight deadlines
- Business acumen, can understand business goals and drivers
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well with diverse nationalities
- Unquestionable integrity
- Proactive and with a positive approach to change
- Advantage: work experience in HFM; and/or work experience with power BI
